The state department of personnel issued the orders on Wednesday night. Subodh Agarwal, Chairman and MD of Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd, was transferred to mines and petroleum department as additional chief secretary, while Pavan Kumar Goyal, chairman and MD of Rajasthan State Warehousing Corporation, was shifted to the Indira Gandhi Canal Board as its chairman. Bhaskar A Sawant, principal secretary, UDH and housing, was transferred to agriculture and cooperatives. Principal secretary, agriculture, KL Meena will replace him as the principal secretary, UDH and housing. Principal secretaries Ajitabh Sharma, Gayatri Rathore and Alok Gupta are among the other officers who have been transferred.

State eyes top slot in RE generation in India with cumulative ₹2.75-lakh crore investments
Renewable energy developers Adani Group, Greenko, ReNew Power and JSW Energy have lined up massive investments for solar, wind and hybrid energy projects in Rajasthan. This is seen fuelling the State’s ambitions to gain top slot in renewables space in India.
The developers have requested customised packages to set up large renewable projects, a top Rajasthan government official said confirming that Adani Group is setting up overall 11,700 MW solar and hybrid projects with investments of over ₹46,000 crore. JSW Group has proposed 10,000 MW solar project with an investment of ₹48,500 crore, another major ReNew Power (for 10,000 MW) and Greenko (for 4500 MW) with ₹30,000 crore investments by each for solar and hybrid projects.
After 2016, there have been no new tenders for wind power
JAIPUR: The wind power developers who had taken government land and have not been able to execute the projects are set to lose their land. Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd (RRECL) has written a letter to the revenue department to expedite the process for cancellation of the land.
In the letter, RRECL said that more than 3000 bigha has beenallotted to about 20 companies which has not developed projects. “The revenueland allotted to the projects in these cases was either not utilized bydevelopers within the permissible period of excess land surrendered bydevelopers had been recommended by RREC for cancellation as per Rajasthan LandRevenue (Allotment of Land for setting up of Power plant based on RenewableEnergy Sources), 2007,” said the letter.
