83-year-old man made child porn, sentenced to more than 15 years in prison Updated 8:27 AM; Syracuse, N.Y. An 83-year-old Franklin County man was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison Tuesday for possessing child pornography, federal prosecutors said. Robert Fitzgerald, 83, of the Town of Waverly, admitted to recording himself engaged in sexual acts with a minor between February 2019 and April 2019, according to a news release issued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York. He also admitted to possessing the videos on Aug. 9, 2019, prosecutors said. The victim told investigators that Fitzgerald started taking nude photos and videos of her when she was 14 years old, according to federal court papers. The victim said he would sell the images and videos for $50 to $200 each through Craigslist, Twitter, WhatsApp and Facetime.
