(WMBF) – An arrest has been made in a case where authorities said a family dispute turned deadly. The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Nicoya Dial on Tuesday afternoon and charged him with voluntary manslaughter in Neil Locklear’s shooting death. Deputies were called to a shooting early Monday morning on Lewis McNeill Road in Red Springs. Locklear was found with injuries and was taken to the hospital where he died as soon as he arrived to McLeod Medical Center in Florence, according to investigators.

(WMBF) – Deputies are investigating a shooting in Robeson County that left one person dead and two others injured. Authorities were called to a home in the 2600 block of Highway 72 West around 9:20 p.m. Monday for reports of a shooting, a press release from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office states. Deputies said 36-year-old Jason B. West was found dead in the front yard of the home.

Man dies in Christmas Eve shooting at Robeson County mobile home park

ROBESON COUNTY   Robeson County Sheriff’s Office authorities are investigating the death of a man killed Christmas Eve in a mobile home park.  Deputies responded to shots being fired and two individuals shot before 6:15 p.m. Christmas Eve at Lombardy Village Mobile Home Park near the 2500 block of Lombardy Village Road.  Joshua A. Locklear, 32, of Lumber Bridge was found dead inside of a car when deputies arrived, officials said in a news release.  A second man, John McMillian, 29, of Lumber Bridge, was taken to UNC Southeastern Medical Center to be treated for his gunshot wounds, officials said.  McMillian was transferred to an undisclosed medical center and is expected to recover from his injuries, authorities said.

(WMBF) – Authorities in Robeson County are investigating after a man was shot and killed Tuesday in St. Pauls. Deputies were called to the 1100 block of Britt Road shortly after 6:30 p.m. after two homes were shot into, leaving a 22-year-old man injured, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office. The victim, identified as Dennis M. Bain, was taken to UNC Southeastern Medical Center where he died from his injuries, deputies said.
