Charges: Minneapolis man shot another man to avenge his brother s death

A Minneapolis man is accused of fatally shooting a 36-year-old St. Paul man in an auto body shop, with charges suggesting he did so to avenge his brother s death.
Mohamed Mohamud Farah, 31, of Minneapolis, is charged in Ramsey County District Court with second-degree murder in connection to the fatal shooting of Mohamed Samatar, 36, of St. Paul, at Arcade Auto Body on March 30.
According to the criminal complaint, St. Paul police responded to the Arcade Auto Body shop on the 1300 block of Arcade Street in St. Paul at around 3:38 p.m. on March 30 on a report of a shooting.

The crash was reported at 11:49 p.m. Friday, April 16, in rural Cass Lake.
The woman was the only occupant in the vehicle, Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reported in a news release. After receiving a report of a crash Friday, Cass County deputies and responders found a 2010 Chevrolet Impala left the road on 140th Street Northwest. The woman was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
