In preparation for the Loop 1604 expansion project on the Northwest Side, the Texas Department of Transportation will close two ramps near The Shops at La Cantera starting Monday night.
The closures will take place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. until May 21. In a news release, TxDOT said this will be done to prepare for major construction on the highway between Bandera Road and Interstate 10.
TxDOT said the closures over the next few days will allow crews to arrange construction work zones with barrier placements and lane re-striping operations before the project begins in the summer. Drivers should experience minimal impact to traffic flow, the news release said.
