Acton Police Department mourns death of Officer Raymond LaRoche

Acton Chief Richard Burrows released the following statement:
“The men and women of the Acton Police Department are deeply saddened by the news of the unexpected death of Officer Raymond LaRoche on Saturday.
“Officer LaRoche served the Department with distinction as an Officer for more than 20 years, returning in 2009 to serve as a Special Police Officer until his death. Our thoughts are with the LaRoche family during this difficult time.
Services for LaRoche will be held on Friday, May 7, from 2-5 p.m. at Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Avenue, Acton. A private family Mass will be held on Saturday, May 8 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, 89 Arlington Street.
