RICHMOND, Va. A violent start to the new year in RVA: at about 8 p.m. New Yearâs day, shots were fired in Richmondâs Museum District leading to property damage, and just hours earlier, in the West End of Henrico, a New Yearâs after-party led to an loud argument.
It was raining in Richmond Friday night. We heard six or seven shots,â said a man who didnât want his name made public. âI passed it off as fireworks but a couple minutes went by and a resident knocked on our door to say the front doorway had been hit.
