Cops: Man, 39, shot and injured in Graniteville; 2 suspects sought Updated 8:46 AM; STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A man was shot and injured during a dispute in Graniteville early on Wednesday morning. The assault occurred at about 1:20 a.m. in front of a home on Elson Street, according to a spokesman from the NYPD. A 39-year-old man was in a dispute with two other men when one of the suspects pulled out a gun and started shooting, according to the police spokesman. The victim was grazed in the shin and shot in the thigh. The suspects fled the location and the victim was taken in stable condition to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton, according to police.
