COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A man who died in a plane crash in Columbia on Wednesday has been identified.
Farhad Rostampour, 62, of Greenville, died in the crash, the Richland County Coroner’s Office confirmed.
He was the pilot of the aircraft.
Friends told
WYFF Rostampour was an active pilot who loved adventure.
He was flying to Columbia to pick up lab samples for his company ETT Environmental, according to his business partner.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The three men who died after being shot in northwest Columbia have now been identified by the Richland County Coroner’s Office.
The men were identified as Jaquan Boatwright of Orangeburg, Raekwon Malone of Columbia, and Khorrey Jones of Columbia.

HOPKINS, S.C. (WIS) - Deputies say a teenager was shot to death in Richland County on Thursday.
The shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of Horrell Hill Road, the Richland County Sheriffâs Department said. Thatâs near Lower Richland Boulevard just outside of Hopkins, in the southern part of the county.
Deputies said the teen boy was shot in the upper body. Crews rushed him to the hospital, but he did not survive.
