FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) Kids are making their way to the Fargo Air Museum for Youth Aviation Camp.

FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fargo Air Museum presents Vietnam Memorial Week April 24 through April 30, 2021, in partnership with the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), Chapter 941.
The week-long event begins with a weekend of programming honoring Vietnam Veterans and featuring a number of guest speakers. Special exhibits of Vietnam War vehicles and artifacts will be on display throughout the week.
The opening ceremony begins at 10 a.m. on April 24 following the arrival of the FM Crusaders and Camp Ripley Huey helicopters and a 21-gun salute presented by representatives from AMVETS Post #7. The opening ceremony will feature Green Beret First Sergeant Joe Wallevand as the keynote speaker and will include remarks from local dignitaries.
FARGO, North Dakota U Motors has partnered with the Fargo Air Museum to host a sweepstakes until March 26, 2021, where one lucky winner may take home a 2021 Can-Am Defender 1000 Limited Side by Side Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) or a cash prize of $10,000.
Valued at over $25,000, the Can-Am Defender sports a heavy-duty Rotax engine, 2,500 pound towing capacity and a 4,500 pound winch. A Can-Am is currently on display at the museum.
“Fargo Air Museum staff and volunteers have been hard at work developing more advanced Youth Camps, scheduling more frequent events for our veterans, and adding new and exciting interactive exhibits. This partnership with U Motors on the Can-Am Defender Limited sweepstakes is an amazing opportunity to continue moving forward on these new projects,” said Ryan Thayer, the museum’s executive director.
