CLEVELAND, Ohio Zach Plesac has made it known he wants to win a Gold Glove Award someday for the Cleveland Indians. If he keeps making plays like the one he turned in during the fifth inning Tuesday, he’ll almost assuredly make that dream come true.
With Luis Rojas representing the tying run at second base with nobody out in the fifth, Angels catcher Drew Butera attempted a sacrifice bunt on a high pitch from Plesac. The ball hung in the air between the plate and pitchers mound as Plesac dove forward, snagging the pop before it hit the ground.

CLEVELAND, Ohio The Indians’ quest for power and help in the outfield continue.
They claimed outfielder Harold Ramirez, a right-handed hitter, on waivers from the Miami Marlins on Wednesday. Right-hander Jordan Humphreys was designated for assignment to make room.
Ramirez played just three games last season. He came down with the coronavirus and strained his left hamstring when he rejoined the Marlins. He was much better in 2019, hitting .276 (116-for-421) with 20 doubles, 11 homers and 50 RBI.
