Residents of the 10th Senatorial District in Bucks County who need help signing up for the coronavirus vaccine can call the offices of State Sen. Steve Santarsiero, D-10, in Doylestown and Newtown townships from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m Thursday to receive assistance.
Santarsiero sent out a recorded phone message Tuesday to residents eligible in the 1A category for the vaccine to urge them to call or stop in either of the offices if they need help registering for the Bucks County vaccine distribution plan or don t have a computer to register online. These include people age 65 and older and those with some pre-existing medical conditions.

DOYLESTOWN, PA The Bucks County Department of Health recorded violations at 14 bars and restaurants in Doylestown in February.

Altomonte s Market, 1 violation: Handwashing sink blocked in the deli. Corrected on site.

Casa Toro Mexican Grill, 4 violations: Towels lacking at the bar handwashing sink; food stored on the floor in the walk-in refrigerator; knife stored in gap between equipment; facility reusing sour cream containers for storage of other food products.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA Plans are in place to open six COVID-19 vaccination clinics across Bucks County, officials say. The only problem? They don t have enough vaccine to do so.
Bucks County commissioners on Wednesday approved a $14 million contract with AMI Expeditionary Healthcare to run the six sites through at least the beginning of April. The sites, officials say, will be able to vaccinate as many as 15,000 people per week. We would be vaccinating everybody right now, said commission Chairwoman Diane Ellis-Marseglia. We are ready to go. We have the staff. We have AMI. The issue is we do not have the vaccine.
