DOYLESTOWN, PA A Bucks County man was sentenced to 6 to 14 years in state prison for repeatedly sexually abusing three girls, the Bucks County District Attorney s Office announced Tuesday.
Robert Pena, 40, of Warrington, previously pleaded guilty in November to two counts of aggravated indecent assault of a child and one count of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age.
Bucks County Judge Rea Boylan issued the sentence after hearing impact statements by the three victims and testimony from an expert with the sex offender assessment board in determining that Pena should be classified a sexually violent predator who must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Bucks DA: $4 million in drugs seized
A routine traffic stop in Bedminster led authorities in Bucks County to some $4 million in drugs, according to the Bucks County District Attorney s Office.
DA Matt Weintraub said in a news conference Thursday that Christian Ochoa, 28, of Laredo, Texas, and Edith Rodriguez Cardenas, 27, of Huntington Park, California, were arrested Friday.
On Wednesday, investigators found additional drugs connected to them in Lehigh County, he said. This is a huge drug bust. The total street value of the drugs seized in both seizures is approximately $4 million or more, Weintraub said.
Both are currently in Bucks County Prison in lieu of 10% of $1 million bail. They are charged with drug possession with intent to deliver, which is a felony, as well as misdemeanor drug offenses.

DOYLESTOWN, PA What started off as a routine traffic stop in Bedminster Township Friday night led to a drug investigation and the seizure of nearly $4 million worth of illicit drugs, the Bucks County District Attorney s Office said Thursday.
Bedminster Township Officer officer James Zukow pulled over a Jeep for swerving and the driver, later identified as 28-year-old Christian Ochoa, of Laredo, Texas, consented to a search, which led to the seizure of one kilogram of heroin and fentanyl and nine kilograms of cocaine with a street value of $1.2 million.
Upper Bucks woman gets probation for stealing from medical company

An Upper Bucks woman will spend three years on probation and must pay restitution after pleading guilty to stealing thousands from her employer, according to authorities.
On Thursday, Shae Kennedy Reber, 44, was sentenced and ordered to pay $75,000 for stealing from interVIEW Medical Systems, according to Manuel Gamiz Jr., spokesman for the Bucks County District Attorney s Office.
Reber had already repaid $65,000 prior to sentencing. Gamiz said the restitution was the amount agreed to by the victim.

A former Palisades High School math teacher and athletic coach is facing one year behind bars for secretly taking upskirt photos of female students and sharing them online with the intention to masturbate to them, authorities said.
Francis James Reppert Jr., 27, of Quakertown pleaded guilty to indecent exposure and invasion of privacy on Oct. 6, according to the Bucks County District Attorney s Office.
Reppert was charged last January following an investigation that began in October 2019, after a student captured a video of him viewing, and zooming in on a photo of what appeared to be a student’s legs, authorities said.
