Funeral services for Mr. Cecil Anthony Gray, Sr. will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Grambling, with Pastor James Lewis Boatner officiating. Interment will follow at Grambling Memorial Garden.
Visitation will be held from 3 – 5 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021at Kings Funeral Home in Ruston.
Gray was born July 28, 1951, in Grambling and passed away on February 15, 2021, after a prolonged illness.
He enjoyed a prolific 30-year career as an all-sports coach and classroom teacher that began at I. A. Lewis Elementary School in Ruston and ended at Grambling High School, from which he retired in 2014.

Minister Martin provides â¬500,000 to the National Gallery of Ireland for acquisitions to the National Collection
Minister Martin today announced the provision of â¬500,000 in capital funding to support the National Gallery of Ireland acquisitions programme for 2020. This support has enabled the National Gallery of Ireland to acquire a number of important works for the national collection, and to secure further acquisitions in the coming weeks. The works cover the full range of the Galleryâs holdings in Irish and international art. This includes old masters and more recent art, and art made in different media, including photography, which is a new focus for the Gallery.
