(WDBJ) - A third alleged shooter has been charged in connection with a shootout at a restaurant in Martinsville in February. Jamel Turner, 21, is charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Malicious Wounding, Use of firearm in committing a felony, and shooting in a public place resulting in injury. Court records obtained by WDBJ7 identify Turner as an alleged shooter who was also hit by gunfire during the incident. Jamal Jenkins, 24 of Collinsville, and Rosario Eggleston, 20, of Martinsville, are also charged in connection with two shooting deaths.

(WDBJ) - A new court document states security footage Virginia State Police obtained from the scene of a shooting shows two men, Jamel Turner and Rosario Eggleston, at El Norteno restaurant before, during and after the initial shootings that occurred at the restaurant’s main entrance February 5. According to the document, the footage also shows Turner and Eggleston going to the restaurant patio and immediately firing their handguns toward the parking lot in the direction of Tahj J. Capel and another unidentified man.

It was a fight inside the restaurant that led to shots being fired inside El Norteño on Church Street on Feb. 5., police said during a bond hearing for Rosario Eggleston. The 20-year-old man then continued shooting outside of the restaurant which then led to Keilo Martin, 23, and Shavon Reid, 33, being shot and killed and two others getting hurt, according to police.
