McDonald s Reports Fourth Quarter And Full Year 2020 Results
- McDonald s delivered its strongest quarter of the year, recovering nearly 99% of fourth quarter 2019 global comparable sales
- U.S. comparable sales were 5.5% in the fourth quarter and 0.4% for the year, marking 6 consecutive years of positive comparable sales

BACOLOD CITY, Jan. 26 (PIA6) –- At least 2,000 McDonald’s Kindness Kitchen meals from Ronald McDonald House Charities were distributed to 15 barangays and three organizations in Bacolod City, in a turnover ceremony as part of the Pilipinas Kontra Gutom (PKG) movement, where Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexei Nograles is one of the proponents.
Nograles, who heads the country’s Task Force Zero Hunger, was in Bacolod City to grace the Kindness Kitchen turnover of meals. He also visited the NVC Production Plant in Barangay Tangub, a Department of Science and Technology Assisted Facility manufacturing Mingo complementary food and dehydrated fruits and vegetables.

The Aboitiz Group has pledged to continue supporting the Philippine government in terms of addressing hunger and malnutrition as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.
In a statement, Aboitiz Group said it believes collaborating with the government in its effort to combat hunger in the country or eradicate it altogether is crucial to realizing its goals under United Nations’ (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), which is targeting for Zero Hunger by 2030.
Through its food subsidiary Pilmico, Aboitiz has been advocating food security by supporting local farmers through sustainable livelihood programs and promoting locally-grown food consumption.
