On Friday, freshman Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) described the harrowing experience of being trapped with his colleagues on Wednesday as the mob that broke into the U.S. Capitol tried to force its way onto the House floor.
In an interview with Fox News, Rep. Jackson recalled how protesters were banging on his office doors, causing them to buckle – and how he and three other members of his Texas delegation chose to “stand our ground” by breaking up furniture to create makeshift weapons.
