The Met Police has only now launched an appeal following the incident on January 24 of this year. A woman was walking on Roding Valley Park Trail at about 4pm while talking on her phone when a man approached her and threatened her with a knife, Scotland has said. He shouted at her to hand over her phone and the security details to the phone.
Police are investigating after a woman was robbed at knifepoint. Metropolitan Police says the incident occurred in the Roding Valley Park area in Woodford Green around 4pm on Sunday, January 24. The victim was walking on Roding Valley Park Trail whilst talking on her phone when a man approached her and threatened her with a knife, the force said. He shouted at her to hand over her phone and its security details, police said. The victim handed her phone over to the suspect and the suspect began to run away. Some passers-by witnessed this incident and so attempted to chase the suspect, police said.
