KINGSTON The Rotary clubs of Kingston are celebrating 100 years of serving the city and international initiatives.
“Rotary means community support,” Peter Merkley, co-chair of the Rotary Centennial Committee, said of what the organization means to a city like Kingston. “There are a lot of community agencies, service clubs, but Rotary supports not only the local community, which we’re really proud of, but Rotary also supports international work.”
