Police have arrested and charged a 23-year-old Regina man in connection with a two vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
According to a Regina Police Service release, police were dispatched to 9th Avenue East and Rothwell Street at about 9:44 a.m. Friday. Officers determined a Chevrolet Silverado truck was travelling westbound on 9th Avenue East when it collided head on with a Mazda 3 parked on the south side of the street. The Mazda 3 in turn struck a nearby pedestrian.

Regina police have arrested a 23-year-old man and charged him with impaired driving causing bodily harm, after a pedestrian was injured in a Friday morning collision.
Police were called to an area around Ninth Avenue E. and Rothwell Street at around 9:44 a.m. CST. A 23-year-old driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck ran head-on into a parked car, which in turn hit a pedestrian, according to police.
REGINA The Regina Police Service is investigating after a pedestrian was involved in a collision Friday morning. Police said officers responded to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian at 9th Avenue East and Rothwell Street.
EMS transported the pedestrian to the General Hospital with what police described as serious injuries. The incident is still under investigation, police said 9th Avenue East from Lacon Street to Rothwell Street was shut down to traffic in both directions for a few hours. It has since reopened.
