According to NPR, the White House will make available and ship one million doses of the vaccine directly to pharmacies all over the country.
The vaccine will become available at select CVS stores in New Jersey starting February 11th, as reported by NJ.com. 27 CVS stores will start distributing the vaccine starting next week.
You ll be able schedule appointments starting February 9th. Some CVS stores may not be ready for the initial distribution. The list of stores that will have access to the vaccine, will be released online once appointments can be scheduled. You can also call 800-746-7281 if you don t have access to a computer.

My wife and I have been trying to help my eighty-five-year-old Uncle get an appointment in Ocean County for the vaccine because he doesn t have a computer or a smartphone. We ve tried early in the morning, afternoon, late at night and overnight and have come up empty every time.
According to the NJ Department of Health, over 642,000 doses of the vaccine, and over 90,000 of the second dose have been given out in New Jersey as of January 27th. 18,999 vaccines were distributed in Atlantic County, 9,091 in Cape May County, 31,574 in Burlington County and 39,378 in Ocean County.

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - Rowan County is switching to an appointment model for distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to a letter from Director Nina Oliver that was released on Monday.
“As your Health Director, I feel a need to share honestly and frankly with you on the status of COVID-19 vaccine in our county,” Oliver wrote.
“Rowan County established a goal which was to create an efficient and effective system that help all those who needed a vaccine get one as quickly as possible. ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. Hundreds of people waited up to two hours in line in Rowan County Wednesday, as the county’s health department administered the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
Officials with the health department told WCNC Charlotte the county had 600 doses and was able to distribute 496 at Wednesday s drive-thru vaccination clinic, held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The county began turning away cars in line around 2:45 p.m.
