Due to the drastic drop in the number of individuals getting their COVID vaccine, the mass vaccination site will no longer be offered at the West End Plaza (WEP) for first-time vaccines.

Rowan Public Health and Emergency Service administering vaccines to homebound individuals   PRESS RELEASE Rowan County Public Health and Rowan County Emergency Service are partnering once again by offering COVID-19 vaccines in-home to qualifying homebound individuals. The purpose of this service is to reach underserved and vulnerable populations within Rowan County that cannot attend a COVID-19 vaccination clinic due to their homebound status, but are still at a higher risk for exposure and poor health outcomes due to COVID-19. Please note that this service is for any individual who cannot physically leave their home and is not intended as a service for an individual who does not have a reliable mode of transportation or no transportation at all.
