Police K9 tracks man who fled from police, broke into occupied home

CRAWFORD COUNTY, MI – A man was arrested after he fled from police and broke into an occupied home in Crawford County.
The incident began at 3:11 a.m. on Dec. 23 when Crawford County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a Speedway gas station in Grayling for a suspicious situation.
A Michigan State Police trooper attempted to stop the suspect vehicle after it left the gas station and the driver refused to stop. Deputies caught up to the suspect vehicle and tried to get him to stop, but he fled at speeds of 90 mph in a 55-mph zone, police said.
