Wednesday, May 19th, peacefully at Roscommon University Hospital.
Beloved husband of Eileen and much loved Dad to Mary, Anne and Tony. He will be very sadly missed by his loving family, sister Theresa Maloney, sons-in-law John and Eamon, daughter-in-law Edel, grandchildren Ellen, Sarah, Joe, Ian, Laura, James and Ethan, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends. May Jimmy rest in peace.
Please note that in an effort to follow government guidelines, Jimmy’s funeral will be attended by family and close friends only. His funeral cortège will depart from his home on Friday morning at 11.40am, arriving at St Mary’s Church, Ballagh for Mass of the Resurrection at twelve noon. Burial afterwards in Cloontuskert Cemetery. House private please. The Martin family very much appreciate your support at this time. A huge range of services are affected
The Saolta hospital group has confirmed a number of cancellations to key services due to the ongoing IT attack at Roscommon University Hospital
In a statement this afternoon, they claim that the ransomware attack on the HSE IT systems continues to have a considerable impact on hospital services.
All outpatient clinics are cancelled and all diagnostics including x-ray are cancelled.

Endoscopy services are cancelled and all elective inpatient and day case procedures are cancelled; a small number of procedures may go ahead and in this event patients will be contacted directly.
