PRINCETON A Bluefield man is suing General Motors alleging that a vehicle he purchased was defective.
Roger L. Rumley purchased a 2019 GMC Canyon on Dec. 26, 2019, for a total of $40,522, according to a complaint filed in Mercer Circuit Court.
Rumley claims the vehicle had multiple warranties and he took the vehicle in several times for repairs, however, the vehicle was never fully repaired.
The vehicle s use, safety and value have been impaired by the defects, according to the suit.
Rumley claims he no longer wants ownership of the vehicle and he wants the defendant to refund him the purchase price of the vehicle. He claims the defendants violated the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act.
