Police search for Jahrome Simon, 20, in connection to Karori homicide in Wellington

Police are searching for Jahrome Simon, believed to be “frequenting” Whanganui, Palmerston North and Hamilton. Police officers are looking for a 20-year-old man in relation to a homicide investigation in Wellington’s Karori. In a media statement on Wednesday, police said Jahrome Simon​ had a warrant for his arrest for conspiring to pervert the course of justice. Simon is believed to be frequenting Whanganui, Palmerston North and Hamilton. The search for Simon is connected to Operation Skyline, a homicide investigation into the death of Rau Tongia​who was shot and killed in the early hours of December 20 in the area of Skyline Reserve next to Percy Dyett Drive in Karori.
