No coronavirus-related deaths recorded in East Lancashire Hospitals Trust yesterday

Royal Blackburn Hospital LATEST statistics show that there were no coronavirus-related deaths in East Lancashire Hospitals Trust yesterday. The news comes after the Lancashire Telegraph had reported there had been 12 in total in the previous two days with seven on Thursday and five on Friday. It means the total number of deaths in the trust stands at 887. Elsewhere, there were also no deaths in Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust. Meanwhile, a further 563 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died in hospital in England, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported in hospitals to 71,789, NHS England said on Sunday. Patients were aged between 24 and 99. All except 29, aged between 34 and 97, had known underlying health conditions.

15 more people die from coronavirus in East Lancashire hospitals in past 24 hours

Deaths at the East Lancashire Hospitals Trust from coronavirus THERE have been 15 more coronavirus deaths in East Lancashire s hospitals in the last 24 hours according to the latest figures. It means that East Lancashire Hospitals Trust, which operates Royal Blackburn Hospital and Burnley General Hospital, has had 880 Covid-19 related deaths in total since March. Meanwhile, in the rest of the county of Lancashire, there were 19 more Covid-19 related deaths recorded in today s NHS data. In Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, one more deaths was recorded, while the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust had eight. The Government said that, as of 9am on Friday, there had been a further 29,079 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK.

NO DEATHS have been recorded by East Lancashire Hospital Trust today. The trust, which manages Blackburn Royal Hospital and Burnley General Hospital, has not reported any further fatalities in today s figures. Elsewhere in the county, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals also reported no more fatalities in today s figures. In Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, four people died within 28-days of a positive Covid-19 test, one yesterday (January 22), one on Thursday (January 21), one of January 18 and one on January 16. In University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust another three deaths were reported, one yesterday (January 22) and two on Thursday (January 21). The Government said a further 1,348 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Saturday, bringing the UK total to 97,329.

Further five Covid-19 related deaths in East Lancashire hospitals

EAST Lancashire Hospitals Trust has recorded a further five Covid-19 related deaths - one of the lowest deaths tolls reported in the county s hospital trusts in today s figures (January 22). The trust, which operates Royal Blackburn Hospital and Burnley General Hospital, has today reported one more death on January 19, 3 further deaths on January 20 and one death yesterday (January 21). In total, 827 Covid-19 related deaths have been reported by East Lancashire Hospitals Trust since March. Meanwhile, in the rest of the county, 19 more Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded in todays NHS data. In Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, five more deaths were recorded, one on Tuesday (January 19), three on Monday (January 18) and one on Sunday (January 17).
