DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) Police have taken several suspects into custody after a short standoff at a home on Larkspur Drive in Dayton.
Montgomery County Regional Dispatch told 2 NEWS that they received a call about shots being fired on Shaftesbury Road around 8:11 p.m. Police encountered the suspect but he ran into a home on Larkspur Drive.
Officers gave verbal commands to the suspect inside the home to come out. Eventually the suspect, who is known to police, and others exited the home. Some minors were inside which required parents to come to the scene.
Everyone inside the home during the incident was taken into police custody for questioning.
