Keith Coleman, 26, was last seen in the area of Highway 30 and Campground Road (CR 217), officials said.
He is most likely on foot.

FOX13 found out investigators say he ran away from a jailer on Sunday in Quitman County and is now thought to be in Panola County.
Quitman County Chief Deputy Peter Clinton said while he was being taken out for his break Sunday, Coleman made a break for it, running to nearby woods and kept running.
A St. Charles resident is facing multiple drug related charges following a traffic stop on Interstate 70 in Lafayette County.
A report from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department states that just before 2 a.m. on Monday, March 29, a deputy conducted a traffic stop after he observed a black Dodge Charger following too closely to another vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, 60-year-old Kimberly Ebernickle refused to consent to a search of the vehicle, claiming it was not hers. During a search of the vehicle, authorities located a semi-automatic handgun, which had been reported as stolen out of Walton County Georgia. Authorities say they also located several syringes with needles, a small plastic bag that contained a substance, which field tested for methamphetamine, a small container that contained a small amount of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Lafayette County K-9’s keeping busy
LAFAYETTE COUNTY – As everyone was dealing with the year 2020, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department K9 and the Darlington Police Department K9 were still hard at work, keeping the county safe.
Deputy Tim Farrell and his partner K9 Ranger have been on active duty since November 2018 after the retirement of K9 Cody, who was with the department since 2009. Ranger, a German Shepherd/Belgium Malinois mix, has been doing great these past years. In 2020, Ranger and Deputy Farrell have had several cases ranging from assisting other agencies on traffic stops as well as assisting other Lafayette County deputies.
OXFORD ⢠A Lafayette County family was decimated Thursday morning when a father and two small children were killed in wreck between a Panola County garbage truck and a passenger car in east Oxford.
Oxford police responded to US Highway 278 and F.D. Buddy East Parkway around 7:45 a.m. March 4 for a wreck between a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta and a Panola County 2020 Mack garbage truck.
The driver of the Volkswagen, John Matthew Ellington, 40, of Oxford, was pronounced dead at the scene. His daughter, first-grader Evangeline Ellington, was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi where she passed away shortly after arriving. The son, Lincoln Ellington was taken to the hospital in Oxford and later flown to Le Bonheur Childrenâs Hospital in critical condition. He died from his injuries overnight.
A 33-year-old Lexington man is facing felony charges after execution of a search warrant in September.
The Lafayette County DTF and Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department executed a narcotics search warrant on September 14 at a residence on Business Highway 13.
Several items were seized from a pull-behind camper of Thomas Kopp’s including: approximately 1.2 grams of methamphetamine; two glass pipes; two cell phones; a semiautomatic firearm; a 30-round Glock 9mm magazine; a socket used as a marijuana pipe; .22-caliber long rifle shells; and a digital scale.
Kopp is charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance; a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon; and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond is set at $50,000 cash or surety.
