More than 20 children were supplied with electronic devices to support their education thanks to a campaign from a rotary club. Following a community appeal by the Rotary Club of Lyme Regis, more than 20 laptops, computers and tablets were supplied to local schools to enable pupils to work from home more efficiently during the latest lockdown. The devices have been wiped clean of all data and donated to a number of local schools, whose pupils were learning from home before returning to class this week. The campaign was launched in the first weeks of January at the beginning of the lockdown and is running in collaboration with the Lyme Regis Baptist Church.
