The St. Landry Parish Sheriff s Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for two runaway teens from Opelousas.
16-year-old Tyler Edwards and 15-year-old Jahlyiah Spears were last seen on Thursday, May 27.
Deputies say Edwards, who is 5 6 and 125 pounds with brown hair, was last seen wearing a t-shirt and blue jeans. They say Edwards packed a bag of clothes and left from his home on Miller Road in a white 2015 Chevy Malibu bearing an LA 28: 825AOH license plate.

63-year-old Douglas Gerace of Melville has been charged with Sexual Battery after he allegedly crossed the line while giving a girl a hug.
The juvenile says Gerace was asking her about athletic activities and hugged her after getting a response, according to a press release from the St. Landry Parish Sheriff s Office. It was during that hug that Gerace allegedly moved his hand and inappropriately touched her on the buttocks. She then tried to leave but Gerace allegedly followed her. That s when the girl called her parents to let them know what was allegedly happening.

Opelousas Man Accused of Making Traffic Stop So Much Worse
A traffic stop turned into a stay in the St. Landry Parish Jail Friday for 59-year-old Donovan K. Hudson of Opelousas after he allegedly fought with the sheriff s deputy who pulled him over and who eventually tasered him during the arresting process.
The incident began at a traffic light at the I-49 Service Road and Creswell Lane intersection when Hudson s SUV stopped next to the deputy in the left turn only lane, drove from the left lane, ran the red light, crossed the right lane and made an illegal right turn - without signalling - in front of the deputy and another driver before heading west on Creswell Lane.
