Street Crime Unit Removes Guns & Drugs From St. Landry Parish St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz has announced, via a press release, the recent creation of their Street Crime Unit as a way to get illegal guns and drugs off the streets of their parish. Guidroz references a recent traffic stop on April 14th that resulted in the confiscation of a gun by a man they alleged was selling drugs. You might remember the story of Logan Kennedy s arrest. KPEL reported several days ago that the man was arrested on several charges after he was found to be in possession of marijuana along with THC oil. We reported that he would not speak to the arresting deputies other than to say, I plead the fifth as they were slapping the cuffs on his wrists.
