Coronavirus testing PEOPLE living in Cambuslang and Rutherglen are being encouraged to get a Covid test due to a rise in cases in the areas. To help identify cases, and control the spread, people can collect a testing kit at Newton Farm community wing from 3.30 pm to 6 pm tonight.

The more the virus spreads undetected, the greater chance new variants can take hold.”

NHS Lanarkshire announce the opening of Covid-19 testing unit in Blantyre
The unit will open from 9.30am on Friday, March 5 and a second unit will open in nearby Rutherglen on Monday, March 8.
