A Mount Joy brother and sister were killed after a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer collided in East Petersburg on Saturday night, causing the vehicles to burst into flames, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional police.
A car carrier tractor trailer struck the passenger s side of a Ford ranger on Graystone Road near Main Street (Route 72) at 9:06 p.m. on Saturday, according to police. The crash caused a fire.Â
Rescue crews arrived to find driver Brandie Leigh Kasper, 21, and her brother Leonard Christian Kasper, 18, inside the pickup truck, both dead at the scene, police said. The Kaspers were identified by Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni.Â

Claire Miller, the Pennsylvania teen charged with stabbing her older sister to death in February, will seek a potential insanity or mental health defense, her lawyer said.
Defense attorney Robert Beyer also requested that Miller s case be transferred to juvenile court, which focuses on treatment and rehabilitation, Lancaster Online reported Thursday.
Miller, 14, was charged as an adult in the slaying of 19-year-old Helen Miller, who investigators said died of multiple stab wounds in their Manheim Township home on Feb. 21. Authorities are offering up to $5,000 to anyone who can help lead them to the 18-year-old accused of driving into a state trooper and fleeing during a traffic stop.
David J. Pratt was the passenger of a 2004 Honda Civic that was pulled over at about 2:20 a.m. on Route 462, east of Old Philadelphia Pike in East Lampeter Township, state police said.

An 18-year-old who injured a Pennsylvania State trooper during a traffic stop in Lancaster County is wanted by State Police.
David J. Pratt was a passenger in a 2004 Honda Civic that was the subject of a routine traffic stop on Route 462, east of Old Philadelphia Pike in East Lampeter Township, around 2:20 a.m., according to PSP.
Pratt shared a false identification with police, then slid over to the driver’s seat while the driver was with police outside of the vehicle, said police in a statement to the media.
Pratt ignored troopers’ orders to exit the vehicle, instead accelerating towards the highway striking the trooper, according to police.
