Douglas County’s Unified Command will host its second virtual COVID-19 panel discussion surrounding the topics of testing, vaccination and equity at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The panelists are Jennifer Schrimsher, an infectious disease doctor at LMH Health; Ruaa Hassaballa, the COVID-19 testing equity project manager at Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health; Tiffany Lewis, chief operations officer at Heartland Community Health Center; Brian Bradfield, associate vice president of ancillary services at LMH Health; and Kathy Colson, a retired public health nurse who began working for the health department during the pandemic. Alex Kimball Williams, health equity planner with Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health, will moderate the event.
