Cheyenne Spa Owner, Employee Arrested for Prostitution
A Cheyenne spa owner and employee have been arrested for prostitution following an extensive investigation, police announced Thursday.
Police spokeswoman Alex Farkas says the department s Community Action Team began investigating the Asian Relax Spa at 619 W. Lincolnway in April 2021 and determined that workers at the spa were offering and performing sexual acts in exchange for money. On May 20, 2021, with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, a search warrant was executed at the business, resulting in the owner and worker being taken into police custody, Farkas said in a news release.
On June 2, the owner, Xiaoli Ye, was bound over to Laramie County District Court on a promotion of prostitution charge. Her arraignment date has not yet been set.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – A routine pullover outside of Cheyenne led to the arrest of a 22-year-old man after a Wyoming highway patrol trooper uncovered nearly 350 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle he was driving.
Court documents obtained from the Laramie county circuit court state that Darwin Alberto Ponce Alvarado, of California, was arrested by a trooper with the Wyoming Highway Patrol during early evening hours of March 3rd.
The trooper reports in the affidavit of probable cause that they observed a white Ford Expedition fail to maintain its lane while traveling on Roundtop Road.

Suspect faces 10 counts of stalking in Wyoming case

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – A 40-year old man was arrested by the Cheyenne Police Department and now faces 17 separate criminal charges, including 10 counts of felony stalking.
Paperwork obtained by the Laramie County Circuit court states that Bradley Griffin was arrested during the nighttime hours of February 6th, 2021 after he attempted to run away from police officers.
According to an affidavit of probable cause filed in the case, two days earlier, on February 6th, authorities were dispatched to a residence within the city limits of Cheyenne to investigate a report of a disturbance.
