Ford revealed its all-electric F-150 Lightning Wednesday night that CEO Jim Farley is convinced will propel the nascent EV industry ahead fast.
“There’s nothing that will move America faster into an EV future than #F150Lightning,” Farley tweeted Wednesday morning 12 hours ahead of tonight’s 9:30 p.m. reveal.

At the top of the list, with arguably the most to lose, is Lordstown Motors Corp. (NASDAQ: RIDE). The de-SPACed startup plans to start building Class 1 electric pickups at a former General Motors plant late this fall.
Ford has taken the covers off its new F-150 Lightning - the first electric version of its best-selling pick-up that will go head-to-head with Elon Musk s Tesla Cybertruck early next year.
