The Delhi government has formed a six-member committee to assess cases of Covid patients who died due to lack of oxygen recently in the national capital for grant of compensation up to Rs 5 lakh, an official order said on Thursday.

Noida: Three people, including an anaesthetist working with the Lal Bahadur Shashtri hospital in Delhi, were arrested on Friday by the crime branch of Noida police for alleged black marketing of Remdesivir injection. This is the third such case of black marketing of the crucial drug in Noida.
The accused identified as Dr Nishrat Imam, Hamza Rehman and Mujibur Rehman were arrested from the road between Sumitra hospital and Abode office following a tip off. While Imam works in Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital in Delhi, Hamza runs a money transfer shop in Ghaziabad, and Mujibur works at a pharmacy in Noida.

Three people, including a doctor working in a Delhi hospital, have been arrested in Uttar Pradesh s Noida for allegedly selling Remdesivir injections at black market rates to needy people amid COVID-19 crisis, officials said.
Senior police official (Crime) Abhishek Singh said the accused were held with three vials of Remdesivir by officials of the Crime Branch and Sector 24 police stations following a tip-off on Thursday. Those held have been identified as Mujibur Rahman, Hamza and Dr. Imam, who says he works in the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital in Delhi. Hamza runs a money transfer shop in Ghaziabad, while Mujibur Rahman works at a pharmacy in Noida, the officer said.

New Delhi, April 19 : Abdul, a 38 year-old hospitality management employee, waiting for his turn to get his Covid-19 test done at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital on Monday, questioned the safety the preparations, saying that a sample testing centre was made at the corner of the building resulting in congestion.
