Los Angeles County Libraries Offer Free Wi-Fi Service In Parking Lots

Free outdoor Wi-Fi service is available in the parking lots of 32 Los Angeles County libraries through funding from the Coronavirus Relief Fund Spending Plan, officials announced today.
The Park & Connect program allows anyone to access Wi-Fi by parking in a designated spot and using their device in their vehicle, Los Angeles County Library officials said. Those without vehicles may sit within 25 feet of the library but are asked to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
Once within range, Wi-Fi can be accessed by clicking the network “CountyLibraryWiFi,” accepting the terms of agreement, then closing and reopening a browser.
