But, according to prosecutors, away from the glamour of the dinner parties and fundraisers, Buck had a dangerous dark side. It included preying on gay black men in sexual games and injecting them with fatal levels of GHB and methamphetamine. Tuesday s opening statements in Buck’s nine-count indictment recounted experiences of his drug den where two men died, and several others were injured. Although the 66-year-old businessman has said through his lawyers the activity was consensual, the U.S. Attorney’s Office plans to have a stream of witnesses tell horror stories of barely escaping with their lives.
