Alex Villanueva said that Tiger was driving at 75 mph at the time of the crash and over 80 mph before he lost control. The speed limit on the road is 45 mph.

Tiger Woods extreme car crash in February was caused due to excessive speed, the Los Angeles County Sheriff s Office announced Wednesday.
Woods was traveling at estimated speeds of 84 to 87 miles per hour when he lost control of his loaned 2021 Genesis GV80 in Southern California on Feb 23, authorities revealed. The primary causal factor for this traffic collision was driving at a speed unsafe for the road conditions and the inability to negotiate the curve of the roadway, Sheriff Alex Villanueva said during a press conference.
