Softball team s NCAA No. 1 seed leads strong spring sports season
The UNG softball team won the Peach Belt Conference championship on May 15 and begins NCAA Southeast Regional play on May 20 at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park.
The University of North Georgia (UNG) softball team won its seventh straight Peach Belt Conference (PBC) tournament title and is the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional.
Ranked second nationally, UNG secured its latest PBC championship with a 3-1 victory May 15 against eighth-ranked Young Harris College at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park in Dahlonega, Georgia.

KNOXVILLE â The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) received Candidacy for Accreditation status by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). The program at LMU-Knoxville (9731 Cogdill Road) will welcome its inaugural class May 18, 2021.
