Lincoln residents brave cold temperatures to get COVID-19 vaccine 2500 individuals in the Phase 1B group got vaccinated at Pinnacle Bank Arena s fourth large-scale COVID-19 vaccine clinic. February 12, 2021 7:43 pm On a frigid, snowy Friday, 2500 Lincoln residents in the Phase 1B group braved the elements and made their way downtown to receive their COVID-19 vaccine shots at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Despite the icy streets, bone-chilling temperatures and the steady snowfall, people were determined to make sure they made it to their appointments on time. “We’re going. We were going to go no matter what,” resident Darrell Werner said. “You bet. We didn’t worry about it. We wanted the vaccine.”

Free shuttles for Friday, Saturday vaccination clinics

KLKN-TV February 11, 2021 3:15 am LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) will be hosting two mass vaccination clinics this Friday and Saturday at Pinnacle Bank Arena (PBA). These clinics are only for registered county residents 75 years or older. LLCHD will be contacting eligible residents directly and scheduling appointments at that time. To help people get to and from the clinic, the City of Lincoln is provided a free shuttle service. The pick-up location is the heated shelter at StarTran Stop 3, located on the east side of Gold’s Building closest to “N” Street. This is also where residents will be dropped off.
