Prime Minister Scott Morrison has confirmed extra doses of the Pfizer vaccine are on the way to New South Wales and Queensland.
NSW will see nearly 185,000 Pfizer jabs delivered in the next two weeks as state leaders continue to push for high vaccination rates.
There will be 20,000 doses set aside for regional areas after their vaccines were sent to Sydney Year 12 students in the eight heavily-affected local government areas.

Australians across the country would be given a $300 bonus - if the Labor government was in power - for stepping forward for both their COVID-19 vaccinations by December 1.
Anthony Albanese promises to deliver the incentive if he is voted in as the leader of the country if an election is called before then.
The plan would cost $6 billion, with the cash going to anyone - including children - who chooses to receive two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine or are already vaccinated.

Contact tracers believed two people, one from Indonesia, the other from the UK - that arrived in Brisbane on June 29 - somehow spread it to the index case, a teenager, before transmission across a number of schools and household family members.
