Gladys Berejiklian expects coronavirus figures to climb again over the weekend - due to the number of cases infectious in the community and the record high on Thursday - as she announced 170 infections on Friday.

New South Wales has recorded 170 new coronavirus cases on Friday, including at least 42 infectious in the community, down from a record-breaking 239 on Thursday.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian said she is expecting to see the numbers bounce around due to the number of cases infectious in the community.
