Jinny’s is the first eatery that Reichert has co-owned. Punch and Smyth hired Reichert in 2012 to work at sycamore., but she has been a chef since finishing high school. Asked how she felt about opening the pizzeria during the COVID pandemic, Reichert said, “It’s nerve-wracking of course … you’re always nervous to open a restaurant anyway.”
