Augusta library to host talk by ‘Mainely Power’ author

AUGUSTA Author Matt Cost is to join Lithgow Public Library’s monthly book discussion at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11.
This event will take place both in person at 45 Winthrop St., and via Zoom.
Cost’s Maine Humanities/Read ME fiction selection, “Mainely Power” will be discussed. The book is set in Brunswick, with a protagonist who is a detective and mystery bookstore owner.
The author will be selling and signing books after the discussion.
As with all of Lithgow’s events, this event is free and open to the public.

June 1st, 2021 Lithgow Public Library will be at a point where no appointment is necessary to browse the library s collections. More good news as we get back to normal in central Maine.
The Lithgow Public Library June 2021 newsletter also pointed out that there will be limited use of their computers.but there is seating inside and out. Lithgow has also been excellent about offering its wi-fi inside and out through this whole experience.
Although the mask mandate has been dropped in Maine, Lithgow is still expecting guests to wear their masks, and they are encouraging people to keep their visits focused still and get what they need.
