WILSON IS FACING MULTIPLE FELONIES IN LINN COUNTY FOLLOWING AN INCIDENT LAST MAY

A 42-year-old Brookfield man is facing multiple felonies after he allegedly led law-enforcement on a pursuit in May, 2020. Christopher Allen Wilson is accused of fleeing from a Brookfield police officer when the officer attempted to make a traffic stop. The pursuit ended when the vehicle Wilson was driving travelled off the roadway and overturned, ejecting Wilson. A passenger in the vehicle was also injured. Wilson and the passenger were taken to area hospitals for treatment. Wilson is charged with a Class D Felony for Assault in the Second Degree;  a Class E Felony for Resisting Arrest, Detention or Stop by Fleeing – Creating A Substantial Risk Of Serious Injury/Death To Any Person; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action.

According to court documents, a jury found Mary Rochefort, 64, guilty of attempted second-degree murder in addition to first degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Authorities received a report of the shooting at about 1:40 a.m. on Dec. 18, 2019. It happened in the 1300 block of Clark Mill Road.

JASMINE STANFIELD WAS CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE FELONIES FOLLOWING THE EXECUTION OF A SEARCH WARRANT AT HER RESIDENCE IN MARCH

A 28-year-old Brookfield woman is facing multiple counts of a drug-related felony charge in Linn County. On February 26, a North Missouri Drug Task Force Officer was conducting an investigation, and a drug task force informant allegedly purchased approximately 3.7 grams of methamphetamine for $250 from Jasmine Nicole Stanfield at her residence. On March 19, authorities executed a search warrant at Stanfield’s residence and located a substance on top of a dresser that tested positive for methamphetamine, several pills packaged for distribution and more than $2,000 in cash. Authorities also confiscated more methamphetamine that Stanfield had on her person. Included in the cash was a $20 bill used in the informant’s aforementioned purchase of methamphetamine.

GABRIEL M DONOVAN IS FACING FELONY CHARGES FOLLOWING AN INCIDENT IN APRIL

According to a Brookfield Police report, officers responded to a report of someone having a gun. The alleged victim reported that Gabriel Michael Donovan might have a gun, and that Donovan had assaulted him. Viewing video of the incident, officers say they observed Donovan yell at and swing a broken bottle at the other man, urging the other man to fight with him. The officer observed Donovan swing the bottle several times attempting to strike the other man in the neck and chest areas. Donovan is charged with a Class D Felony for Assault in the Second Degree and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. The Court has ordered no bond.
