Tripoli, Jun 3 (EFE).- Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez met his Libyan counterpart Abdulhamid Dbeibeh in the capital Tripoli on Thursday and offered his nation’s support in achieving stability in the North African country.
Sanchez’s comments came ahead of the reopening event of the Spanish embassy after a closure that lasted nearly seven years when Libya descended into a civil conflict.
In a show of support for Libya’s new unity government, Sanchez traveled to Tripoli along with Spanish Foreign Minister Arancha González Laya and a group of businesspeople with investment plans.

Menif received Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Ahmad Nasser al-Mohammad al-Sabah, currently visiting the Libyan capital Tripoli, who delivered him a message from the Kuwaiti emir inviting him to visit Kuwait, according to a statement by his media office.
