Peru s Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Claudia Cornejo on Wednesday announced that the Lima-based Jorge Chavez International Airport will continue to operate domestic and international flights during the 15-day period starting January 31 of lockdown. Jorge Chavez (International Airport) will remain open to international flights (except Europe and Brazil), as well as to domestic flights (except Jauja and Huanuco), she said in remarks to RPP radio and TV station. The restriction placed on international flights from Europe is still in effect, and now Brazil has been added to the list because this is a destination of concern, the government official explained.
